Yay learner Spotlight! Neva J is the president of National English Honor Society (NEHS) chapter and the president of the UNICEF club at Briar Wood’s High school. A former student and child author of Zeal, she also coaches at Yay Learner. Neva placed at regionals and competed at the VA state level DECA competition. Congratulations Neva! 
Yay Learner Spotlight! Former student Alex Saju, one of the young authors of Yay Learner publication, Zeal, is now the Youth President of KAGW, a 50-year-old non-profit in the DC metro area. Always keep the joy in learning!
Yay Learner Spotlight: Former student Akhil Koranath, is now the co-founder of Mission Hygieia, a non-profit with a mission to make personal hygiene accessible to all. He is also the Youth Vice President of KAGW, a non-profit in the DC metro. Akhil has been one of the young authors of Yay Learner publication, Zeal.
Former Yay Learner Alan T is a second-year student of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the recipient of a paid internship after his first year of college.

Manifest positive outcomes
Savia T. campaigning to the Loudoun school Board to keep Loudoun county as a feeder school to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Tech. Savia was in elementary school at the time.
Savia T now represents TJ at national competitions like TSA. She has also won 3rd place at the TSA national level for essay writing and multiple awards at VA State level.

Effective speaking skills comes with practice. Our Yay Learner curriculum is targeted to enhance and empower communication , public speaking skills for kids ages 7-16.
